Hi there! I'm Rachael, owner and treating therapist at JSTS! I graduated from Quinnipiac University with a master's in occupational therapy in 2015. Since then, I've worked in a variety of pediatric settings across the country but I've now returned to Connecticut to work with families and children here in my home state!

After working in both clinical and home-based therapy jobs, I saw the benefits of OT services provided in the home and community environments. My home-based clients made faster progress and parents were happier because they felt more invested and included in the therapy process. I wanted to bring that type of therapy to CT, where it is harder to find!

I specialize in feeding therapy, sensory integration and behavior management. I provide neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed OT services, with a special focus on children from newborn through age 5.

I am also a certified trauma and attachment therapist, providing support to children who have been through traumatic experiences, including those who have been adopted or in the foster care system.
